Reducing Plastic Waste with Beeswax Wraps

Board Member, Asifa Pasin recently hosted an Exchange Workshop that allowed participants to learn to create their own beeswax wraps. The Workshop also focused on education as attendees discussed ways to reduce the amount of plastic waste. Read the following review from the event and join us for an upcoming Workshop!

“My thanks go to The Exchange and to Asifa! I attended Asifa’s class on how to make your own beeswax wraps. It was great fun and very informative. The class learned how to wax cotton fabrics to cover dishes instead of using plastic wrap. We went home with several sizes. They will make great gifts and will reduce the amount of plastic going into the landfill and the ocean. I hope Asifa can hold more classes in the future so more people can learn how to make them!”  – Elizabeth
