The Can Crusher: Recycle Camp at Burning Man

Each year Recycle Camp at Burning Man recycles 4 forty yard containers of crushed aluminum cans. All of the proceeds go to the local school district in Gerlach, Nevada. It is the only recycling program at Burning Man (everything else is packed in and out). Here is ORS Board Member Mark Mayer representing Orcas Island at the Burn in 2016 and riding the bicycle that powers the can crusher!
