Great Islands Clean Up Spring 2019 A Success

Great Islands Clean Up

Thanks to EVERYONE who participated in this year’s Spring 2019 Great Islands Clean Up! Almost 6,000 pounds of litter was picked up and properly disposed of by 441 volunteers! The impressive numbers are below!

Special thanks to Island Market for its awesome support for the event, and for sponsoring a team challenge that netted a $1,000 donation to The Exchange. We also want to shout out to the 30-plus member team ‘Crow Valley Posse’, lead by Ginger Moore and Nancy Schafer, who brought in 840 pounds of trash, and ‘won’ the challenge for The Exchange! Thanks also to Jami Plummer and Island Hoppin’ Brewery for the best part of the day—the after party! We are already looking forward to the next Fall clean-up!
